DescriptionOne of Andrei Cherny’s top campaign volunteers took to Twitter on Thursday to criticize the Democratic congressional hopeful’s opponents for running in a district where they don’t live.

But while he was quick to chastise Cherny’s challengers, he failed to mention that Cherny is doing the same thing.

Dennis Kavanaugh, a Democratic Mesa City Councilman who is one of Cherny’s campaign co-chairs, posed the rhetorical question : “So when will he move to CD9?” in response to Republican Vernon Parker’s announcement that he would enter the race for Arizona’s 9th Congressional District.

When someone replied to Kavanaugh on Twitter, pointing out that fellow Democratic CD9 candidate Kyrsten Sinema announced her campaign before she moved into the district, Kavanaugh tweeted that he thinks her similar choice deserves rebuke.
