1. Going back over a century, the tallest POTUS candidate wins at a rate of about 80%.

2. Excluding ties, 23 of 28 (82%) candidates with the most letters in their last name has won the popular vote.

3. GNP growth rate for the April, May and June before the election:
>= 2.6% is relection or replacement with the candidate of the same party as the incumbent
<= 1.5% results in a loss by the incumbent or the candidate of the same party.

4. Gallup Mid June Approval rating
>= 51% approval results in reelection
<= 45% approval results in ouster.

5. The Scholastic Books presidential poll claims to have a streak of greater than 50 years of predicting the correct results of the presidential elections.

6. The Spirit Holloween mask presidential predictor has been accurate going back to 1996. Whichever candidate sells the most masks is the winner.

7. No only child has ever won the presidency. Three, Ford, Clinton and FDR, have had only half-siblings.

8. The Redskins predict the presidential election. Going back to 1936, if the Redskins wons the weekend before the election, the incumbent part won every year EXCEPT 2004 when Bush beat Kerry. On Novenber 3rd 2008, the Redskins lost to the Packers this predicting an Obama victory.
