Description | The surest sign that a candidate is moving up comes when he is attacked by an opponent.
Jon Huntsman must be moving up, given the criticism from Mitt Romney and supporters.
During weekend debates, Romney took the chance to remind New Hampshire Republicans that Huntsman worked for President Obama as ambassador to China.
"You were, the last two years, implementing the policies of this administration in China," Romney told Huntsman during a debate Saturday, protesting what he called unfair Chinese trade practices.
That prompted an interesting response from Huntsman -- in Mandarin.
"He doesn't quite understand this situation," Huntsman said, translating. "What he is calling for would lead to a trade war." |
