Description | Jon Huntsman will skip Tuesday’s presidential debate in Nevada and instead hold a town hall meeting in New Hampshire, his campaign announced.
Huntsman campaign manager Matt David said the former Utah governor will not compete in Nevada as long as it rebuffs New Hampshire’s demand that it reschedule its caucuses for later in the month of January.
“While Mitt Romney's campaign has tried to game the system by encouraging Nevada to move to an earlier date, Governor Huntsman is sticking up for the Granite State,” David said. “We call on all other campaigns to join us, avoiding typical hypocritical politics by paying lip service to New Hampshire, while campaigning in Nevada.” |
