Description | Former North Dakota state Rep. Ben Vig says he's considering a bid for the Democratic endorsement to run for the U.S. House.
The Aneta Democrat says it's time for Democrats to "step up" for statewide campaigns. So far, no Democrat has started a race for North Dakota statewide office in 2012.
The 28-year-old Vig served four years in the North Dakota House. He represented a rural district in east-central North Dakota. Vig was defeated for re-election last year.
Vig says incumbent Republican Congressman Rick Berg hasn't given enough attention to the drafting of the next federal farm bill. |
