| Description | State Rep. Randy Weber (R-Texas) announced Wednesday that he’s looking at running for retiring Rep. Ron Paul’s seat.
“When Congressman Paul announced he would not be seeking re-election to the seat, my phone started ringing,” Weber said. “After quiet reflection and considerable prayer, my wife Brenda has given me the go-ahead to take the next step.”
Weber said he’s filed the paperwork to open an exploratory committee with the hope of making a final decision by Labor Day. |
