| Description | Motivational speaker Sam Wurzelbacher, formerly known as Joe the Plumber, is hopping aboard the Tea Party Express as it heads to Wisconsin. Wurzelbacher has made a number of appearances in Wisconsin since he became a celebrity during the 2008 elections. This time he'll be on the "Reclaiming Common Sense" tour August 5 through 8. This four day tour of Wisconsin is a warm up tour in advance of the Tea Party's "Reclaiming America Tour" which starts in California's wine country on August 27 and ends on September 12 at the CNN/Tea Party Express Debate in Tampa.
The Tea Party Express is backed by the Our Country Deserves Better PAC which some have alleged has been the primary source of misinformation regarding Barack Obama during his Presidential run. Some of the seeds traced back to the PAC include Obama being a Muslim and Obama not covering his heart for the pledge. The PAC is also alleged to have started the questions surrounding Obama's relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright. |
