| Description | Greg Aguilar of East Moline has joined the pack of Democrats lining up to oppose U.S. Rep. Bobby Schilling, R-Colona, in the 2012 election.
Mr. Aguilar is the director of Multi-Cultural Services at Augustana College in Rock Island. Before taking that job, he served as community development coordinator with Ascentra Credit Union.
'I want the middle class to have a voice again in Washington, and I want a representative that truly represents the people of this district. I know I can best represent this area,' Mr. Aguilar said Tuesday. 'As a child of two John Deere floor employees, I know what it is to be part of a working-class family. |
