Description | Republican congressional candidate Craig Huey was served on Sunday with a request from his ex-wife for child support payments she claims he owes going back to 2006.
The attorney for Angela Combs told POLITICO on Monday that the wealthy tea partier running in California's special House election owes $6,300 and interest in payments that were due between July and October of 2006.
Huey was served with the papers at a campaign event Sunday and a Democratic tracker was on hand to capture it on video.
When asked about the timing of the subpoena, Combs's attorney, James Thompson, denied any political motivation. |
