Description | Pam Bucy of Helena on Thursday became the second Democrat to jump into the 2012 attorney general's race, although Democratic incumbent Steve Bullock won't reveal his political plans until after Labor Day.
Bucy, 42, joins former Sen. Jesse Laslovich, formerly of Anaconda and now of Helena, who announced last week he was running as a Democrat for attorney general. Sen. Jim Shockley of Victor is the lone Republican in the race so far and announced last year.
Bullock is deciding whether to run for governor next year or seek re-election, although Democratic insiders believe he will run for governor.
