Description | “It’s a big oops,” said Tom Little, chairman of the panel that is trying to redraw Vermont’s legislative districts to jibe with the 2010 Census.
The Legislative Reapportionment Board settled on a proposed solution for the Senate districts Thursday.
It all looked well and good until the light of the day Friday, when Little and elections staffer David Crossman each noticed the plan included 31 Senate seats. The Senate has 30 members.
“I was having a sinking feeling,” Little said. |
