Description | Virgil H. Goode Jr. of Rocky Mount, a former Virginia senator and U.S. congressman, said Friday he will consider seeking the Constitution Party's nomination to run for president of the United States.
Goode said the Constitution Party's national executive committee adopted a resolution at its April meeting in Harrisburg, Pa., urging him to seek the party's nomination to run for president.
"I will consider it (seeking the nomination) as the year progresses," Goode told The Franklin News-Post from his home in Rocky Mount Friday. |
