Description | Michael Steele clearly has a career ahead of him in television.
(For anyone who doubts, check out this, ahem, lively exchange between Steele and Ed Schultz on “Real Time with Bill Maher” from a few months ago.)
The question is, where?
My money’s been on MSNBC for a while now, mostly because his appearances on “The Rachel Maddow Show” in the weeks after he left the Republican National Committee chairmanship seemed like an unlikely, but quite mutually respectful fit. Steele is at his best when he’s in his ideological enemies’ territory.
Early reports were that he was talking to CNN and Fox News, but today The Hill reports that he is, indeed, in talks with MSNBC for a political analyst gig. |
