Description | Former California Attorney General Dan Lungren is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination in California’s 3rd Congressional District according to a newly released survey conducted by veteran GOP pollster Bob Moore.
The results reveal that in this four-way primary, Lungren leads with 33% of the vote, followed by Rico Oller with 26% and Mary Ose with 9%. Just 2% are supporting Richard Frankhuizen with 31% undecided.
Adding significance to Lungren’s lead is the fact that he just entered the race on October 28th, and his campaign has not spent any money contacting voters. In contrast, Lungren’s opponent has been actively campaigning since summer 2003 and has already sent several mail pieces.
