Description | Lieberman Says He Won't Quit After NH
Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Lieberman said Tuesday he won't drop out of the race, even if he places below third in next week's New Hampshire primary.
Lieberman, mired in single digits in New Hampshire polls, reminded reporters that voters have not yet had a chance to vote for him. He bypassed the Iowa caucuses Monday night to focus on next Tuesday's primary.
The Connecticut senator said the surprising results of the caucus, which placed John Kerry and John Edwards in first and second place, only reinforce his belief that pollsters and pundits don't pick presidents. |
