Wesley Clark, seeking a bipartisan flavor for his presidential campaign, has hired a former adviser to Republican Sen. John McCain to be his senior strategist.
John Weaver, who helped run McCain's insurgent primary campaign against President Bush in 2000, has joined Clark's paid staff, said a campaign official speaking on condition of anonymity. |
