Description | U.S. Rep. Ed Pastor, D-Phoenix, is seriously considering running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated next year by retiring Republican Jon Kyl.
“Yes, I will be looking at the seat,” said Pastor, a longtime congressman representing south and west Phoenix and other parts of the West Valley, including Laveen and sections of Glendale.
“Opportunities like this don’t come along often,” said Pastor, who was first elected to Congress in 1991.
