Description | A French man is suing GlaxoSmithKline, the drug manufacturer that made the Parkinson's drug Requip, because he says the drug turned him into a "compulsive gay sex addict."
Didier Jambart, 51, took Requip from 2003 to 2005. He was married to a woman at the time. He claims that side effects of the drugs caused him to gamble away his life savings and that he became a "compulsive gay sex addict and began exposing himself on the Internet and cross-dressing." His lawyer also said that he was raped while engaging in "risky" behaviors.
Jambart seeks $610,000 from GlaxoSmithKline for selling him what he calls a "defective" drug. |
