DescriptionOn Tuesday, the West Virginia Supreme Court ruled that the state must hold a special election by Nov. 15 to elect a new governor. Voters expressed mixed emotions.

"I really do think there should be a special election for governor. That's how we're always voting for people," said Mary Mason.

Linda Hipkiss added, "I don't believe we need that. I think we would be OK until the regular election comes up."

Greg Andreozzi said, "Keep him in there until it's election time."

Senate president and acting governor Earl Ray Tomblin had argued that the West Virginia Constitution did not call for a special election, but he says he will not challenge the court's ruling. One thing voters are not happy about is the cost of another special election.
