Description | One of freshman Sen. Kay Hagan's (D-N.C.) home-state offices was vandalized late last week, and local police are still looking for suspects.
The incident occurred last Thursday at Hagan's Greenville, N.C., office, WNCT reported. Greenville Police say a swastika was spray-painted on the front door and the words "criminal government" were spray-painted on the outside wall, along with another swastika.
Other buildings in the vicinity of Hagan's office were also spray-painted with similar slogans and symbols, police told WNCT.
The vandalism took place in the midst of Senate action on President Obama's tax deal, the repeal of the military's "Don't ask, don't tell" policy and the START nuclear arms treaty with Russia.
