Description | PORTLAND, Ore. - Governor-elect John Kitzhaber picked up an extra vote in a recount of some of the ballots in Multnomah County.
Oregon Republicans asked for a test re-count, at their expense, of the votes for governor in three Multnomah County precincts, aiming to see whether major irregularities turn up that would warrant a broader re-count.
The test re-count was done on Monday . A total of 8,347 votes were given a second look. |
