Description | The Dundee-born politician, elected MP in the Bethnal Green and Bow constituency in 2005, failed to secure the nearby Poplar and Limehouse seat in London's East End as a Respect party candidate in the general election in May this year.
He writes: "I'd need 5 per cent of the Glasgow vote to get elected - somewhere between 10,000 and 15,000 votes. My friends don't think it's beyond me. Neither do I. What about you?" |
