DescriptionRepublican Scott Rigell said Wednesday that the two racially charged e-mails linked to the Virginia Beach Republican Party have "not shaken any support for our campaign."

Rigell, the frontrunner in the race to capture the conservative leaning 2nd District, has condemned both e-mails, which were released on a liberal blog on the Internet early this week.

On Wednesday, following a luncheon with the Roundtable of Business Leaders, Rigell said no one on the campaign trail is asking about the e-mails except the media. He said the notes were publicized in "an attempt to manipulate the outcome of the election."
