Description | So, when Bob Dold claims to be a lifelong resident of the Illinois Tenth District, he really means his childhood and after his recent move to mom and dad's Kenilworth house in 2007. His parents purchased that house in 1998, but I'd imagine that Bob would not have lied on his homeowner's exemption application for the Roscoe Village home in 2005 and 2006 (and possibly 2003 and 2004).
From what I can tell, Dold probably lived in the district for only about 2 1/2 years of his adult life. He's 41 years old so that puts him out of the district over 90% of his adult life. He lived in Chicago so many years during the time he claims to have lived in the district, that he might even fall under the Mark Kirk "thugs and goons from Chicago" category.
