| Description | City Councilman Thomas White Jr. of Queens died this morning at North Shore LIJ after a long illness, a well-informed source tells the Daily News.
Frank Lombardi, our resident Council expert in the City Hall bureau, updates us:
White, who lived in Rochdale Village, Queens, had just turned 71 last Saturday. He was last seen around the City Council back in June, before the Council went on its once-a-month session schedule for the summer.
A colleague said he last saw him last week during a visit to his hospital bedside. |
