DescriptionUpdated | Friday | 1:53 p.m. As Pakistanis continue to post video on the Internet documenting the terrible devastation caused by floods in the country’s northwest, their president, Asif Ali Zardari, was filmed on an inspection tour of flood defenses in the country’s southern Sindh Province on Thursday.

Mr. Zardari, who had shoes thrown at him by an activist from his own political party while in England last week during the flooding, only allowed state television to cover his visit.

These two dramatic videos, uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday or Thursday*, show houses collapsing and being swept away by raging waters in the Kalam Valley, along the Swat river in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, which has been among the worst-affected areas of Pakistan.
