Poll shows Donnelly leads Walorski

Description | The Susan B. Anthony List, an organization focused on advancing the political campaigns of pro-life women, released poll results Friday that show U.S. Rep. Joe Donnelly, D-Granger, has a significant lead over state Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Jimtown, in his bid for re-election this year.
The organization, which surveyed 309 registered voters in Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District by telephone between July 31 and Aug. 3, reported that 35 percent of respondents said they would definitely vote for Donnelly “if the election were tomorrow.” Fifteen percent said they would probably vote for Donnelly and 2 percent said they were leaning toward voting for him, for a total of 52 percent.
Twenty-one percent of respondents said they would definitely vote for Walorski, 12 percent said they would probably vote for her and 2 percent were leaning toward voting for her, for a total of 35 percent. |
