Description | Attorney General Mike Cox said Friday there is no possibility he will run against Gov. Jennifer Granholm for governor in 2006.
Cox said he wanted to make an unequivocal declaration because rumors and speculation about his political ambitions were interfering with the functioning of state government.
Appearing on the public television program "Off the Record," Cox said he has a "dream job" already and that he fears a campaign for governor would be too hard on his family. (He has three children younger than 8.)
