| Description | Tampa, FL - Florida CFO and Gubernatorial Candidate Alex Sink was endorsed by the Florida Police Benevolent Association (PBA) today as their choice in the 2010 general election for governor. The PBA noted Sink's strong support of Florida's law enforcement community and her work on behalf of Florida's officers as reasons for standing behind Sink's candidacy.
"I am honored to be endorsed by the Florida Police Benevolent Association, whose members put their lives on the line every day. These brave officers protect our communities and our state, and to have their support is both a privilege and a strong statement of their confidence in what we can accomplish together for Florida," said Sink. "Public safety is my first priority, and I am grateful that the members of the Florida PBA are putting their trust in me to work side by side with them to keep our citizens safe. I will always ensure the men and women who wear the badge have the tools they need to protect themselves and all Floridians." |
