Description | State Sen. Craig Pridemore, D-Vancouver, has dropped out of the race for U.S. Rep. Brian Baird's seat in the 3rd District. Baird is not running for re-election.
In an interview with me last week, Pridemore indicated he wasn't too worried about the money advantage held by Denny Heck, the Democratic front runner in the race. Heck has raised more than $500,000 compared to about $83,000 for Pridemore.
But in a statement released by the national Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Pridemore said he was dropping out for that very reason. |
