Description | Evansville-Vanderburgh school officials want to study the feasibility of returning to a neighborhood school concept, having children attend the school that is closest to their home.
It would, Superintendent Bart McCandless said, result in better use of facilities, increase parental involvement and encourage more community support of schools.
