| Description | The Democratic State Central Committee today nominated U.S. Rep. Brad Ellsworth as the party's candidate for Senate.
Ellsworth, 51, Evansville, will run against Republican Dan Coats for the seat currently held by Sen. Evan Bayh, who isn't seeking re-election.
The nomination took place at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in the Indiana Roof Ballroom. |
