Description | Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y) thinks that an episode of Comedy Central’s “South Park” could be a possible cause for the Times Square bombing attempt on the weekend.
King, the ranking Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee, pointed to the fact that the vehicle containing the explosives was found near the headquarters for Viacom, which owns Comedy Central.
An April episode of South Park portrayed the prophet Muhammad in a bear suit, prompting the group Revolution Muslim to publish comments threatening to the show's creators. |
