DescriptionWeeks after getting dropped from a Pentagon Prayer Day event, evangelist Franklin Graham said Monday that his “religious rights are being denied.”

During an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Graham said that his speaking slot was unjustly dumped over his saying that Islam is “evil.”

“It is a comment I made after 9/11 that Islam was wicked and evil,” said Graham, the son of the Rev. Billy Graham.

Graham then declared that the only reason his invitation was dropped was that “a couple members of the Pentagon who are Muslim objected about me coming.”
