| Description | Illinois Rep. Mark Kirk (R) raised $2.2 million in the first quarter of 2010, $1 million more than his Democratic Senate opponent, state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias.
Kirk reports raising a total of $6.6 million to date, with $3 million remaining in the bank. His cash-on-hand total gives the five-term congressman a financial advantage heading into the final seven months of the campaign.
Giannoulias announced $1.2 million in his campaign account as of the end of March.
