Description | Former Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley says his ability at times to say "No Joe" during his 16 year tenure kept Sheriff Joe Arpaio out of trouble.
Romley is considering applying for Andrew Thomas' old job. Thomas resigned last week to run for State Attorney General. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors will likely appoint an interim county attorney by next week. Whoever is appointed will also have to run in a special election in November to serve out the remainder of Thomas' two years left in office. |
