Description | Health care reform sparked some political fireworks between two of Nevada's constitutional officers.
Republican Governor Jim Gibbons wants Democratic Attorney General Catherine Cortez-Masto to join a lawsuit against the federal government over health care reform.
14 other states are suing already.
The AG said she wants to actually read the final language of the health care bill and then make decision to make sure she's not wasting tax money filing a suit the state can't win.
The governor got frustrated with that response choosing some rather abrupt language in his reply to her. He bashed the AG in his letter, writing... "any reasonable person experiencing such inaction from a private law firm would have fired that firm already." |
