Description | It’s up to Gov. David Paterson to decide the fate of the 29th Congressional District seat left vacant by former U.S. Rep. Eric Massa, and according to some sources, a special election is likely.
State Sen. George Winner said he was told by the governor that one would be held shortly, according to an article in The Leader. In the same article, however, Morgan Hook, a spokesman for Paterson, would not confirm a decision has been made. |
