Responding to that announcement, Mr. Lieberman told reporters, “The fact that everybody is deserting me en masse just proves that I’m gaining momentum,” adding, “I’m so close to winning this thing, I can taste it.”
Elsewhere, in a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass) used two four-letter words, one of them being “Gore.”
