| Description | After spending millions of his own money during his unsuccessful 2008 presidential campaign, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney apparently has learned a thing or two about fundraising.
Romney's political action committee, Free and Strong America PAC Inc., is leading all other politician PACs in receipts this year with more than $3 million.
Romney's committee pulled in $440,000 during the month of October, besting the efforts House Majority Leader Rep. Steny H. Hoyer's, D-Md., AMERIPAC, which corralled $271,000 in receipts and Rep. Eric Cantor's, R-Va., Every Republican Is Crucial (ERIC PAC), which took in $118,000 for the month. |
