DescriptionMONTREAL -- Former B.C. federal Liberal candidate Terry Julian came to this city to help Stephane Dion score a stunning upset victory in the Liberal leadership race.

Now his son Peter, who unlike his dad made it to the House of Commons by winning the support of New Westminster voters, will go to work on Parliament Hill today to tear down his father's work.

Julian the elder, who finished a distant third in the New Westminster-Coquitlam riding in 1984 under John Turner, was an enthusiastic Dion delegate at the roller-coaster convention.

When he wasn't busy urging opponents to put on a lime-green Dion T-shirt, he could proudly look up to the TV network platforms to see his son, one of the NDP's designated "observers," trash the Liberal party and its candidates on TV panels.

The two Julians were all smiles as they walked together Sunday out of the gigantic convention centre.
