| Description | Congressman Eric Cantor, the number two Republican in the House of Representatives, today announced he is endorsing Meg Whitman to become the next governor of California.
Whitman, he said, is “the answer to what voters need in this state.”
Cantor, a five-term congressman from Virginia, said Whitman’s proven leadership as head of the global powerhouse eBay for a decade and her ability to inspire and connect with people make her the right candidate to help lead California out if its economic hard times.
“The state needs a leader with a creative vision, with a formula for success that can address the fiscal challenges that you face and there is no one better than Meg Whitman. I’m very honored to be part of her team,” Cantor said. |
