| Description | The Day of Decision (D-Day) movement has grown to 93 events planned in cities in the United States and Canada on Tuesday, May 26th, the day the California Supreme Court will announce its ruling on Proposition 8.
D-Day organizers are calling for celebrations or protests, depending on the outcome of the ruling.
Protests are planned if:
* Prop 8 is upheld and the 18,000 marriages already performed are invalidated
* Prop 8 is upheld, but the marriages already performed are also upheld
However, celebrations are planned if:
* Prop 8 is stricken and the court says same-sex couples are entitled to equal marriage rights of heterosexual couples |
