DescriptionPHOENIX -- Folks in Arizona usually give a new governor the benefit of the doubt. Not this time.

Jan Brewer has a dismal 24 percent "good" rating in Maricopa County.

Twenty-six percent tell the Rocky Mountain Poll she's doing a "poor" job.

By comparison, former Governor Janet Napolitano had a "poor" rating of only 10 percent early in her first term.

The news is even worse for state lawmakers. Fifteen percent say they're doing a "good" job and 35 percent say "poor."
