DescriptionCHEYENNE -- U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis said she knew it was risky to appear on television opposite comedian Stephen Colbert, but it was a risk worth taking. The real mistake, Lummis said, would be taking the segment seriously. "This program is on Comedy Central. That's the name of the network, Comedy Central," Lummis said. Lummis appeared during a five-minute segment of the Colbert Report on Monday night called "Better Know Your District." Lummis started off smoothly, explaining that Wyoming was the first state to grant women the right to vote, and also is home to more antelope than humans.
