| Description | They guzzle gas, radical environmentalists have been known to set them on fire and there came more bad news for Chicago devotees of America's beloved sport-utility vehicle, the SUV.
The Chicago City Council voted to tack an added 15 dollars onto the annual passenger vehicle tax for SUVs over 4,500 pounds because of their additional "wear and tear" on city streets, raising it from 75 to 90 dollars effective January 1.
