DescriptionRandy Knapp, a small business owner and member of the Town of Shelby board, announced Saturday he is waging a last-minute write-in effort to unseat Rep. Jennifer Shilling in the 95th Assembly district.

Up until this weekend, nobody had challenged Shilling, a La Crosse Democrat who was first elected to the Assembly in 2000.
Knapp, 50, lives in Shelby with his wife, Stacy, and two sons, Noah, 11, and Devon 8.
