DescriptionAt the recent 1st Congressional District debates, White used different variations on the theme that freshman Congressman don't really get to do anything.

For example, at the KOB-TV debate on October 22, White said, "As a rookie Congressman, you sit way in the back and they don't even let you turn your mic on. You are going to be very limited in what you do."

So all of the things that Heinrich said he wants to get done wouldn't get done. Because he's a freshman congressman.

The Heinrich campaign laid this hilarious smack down on that notion in a press release.

"We've seen four debates, and we still don't know why he wants to run for Congress, or what he would do if he was there - except sitting on the back row with his microphone turned off," said Jason Burke, campaign spokesman.
