Description | Democratic congressional candidate Mark K. Shriver will begin an extensive television advertising campaign today that portrays the state lawmaker as an effective advocate through the testimonials of people he has helped.
The 30-second spot comes after months of criticism from rival state Sen. Christopher Van Hollen Jr. that Shriver's chief accomplishment as a state delegate was to "push the right buttons," and that the nephew of President John F. Kennedy is relying on family ties to win over voters in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. |
