Description | DENVER–
John McCain and Sarah Palin will hold joint town hall meetings in the week ahead. The Palin camp says they will hold town halls in Western Michigan and Wisconsin. This will be the first time Palin will leave the rally style campaign event and take questions from voters.
The exact dates are still being worked out, but it would have to be after Tuesday’s trip to Ohio where the GOP ticket joins back up again at a rally in Youngstown.
The town hall used to be a staple of the GOP nominee, but he hasn’t held one in almost a month relying on the large style rallies that he used to hit Barack Obama for holding. With the addition of Sarah Palin to the ticket McCain is pulling the largest crowds of his entire candidacy. |
